I made the planters with Red Grandis. Read Grandis is a fast growing tree that is sustainably harvested and less expensive than other woods suitable for outdoor projects. For a quick color reference, the outdoor table at the beginning of this video is made of red Grandis and Sepele. The center boards are Sepele and the outer boards are red Grandis.
