A few years ago I made a watch display case and got a ton of questions. So I made another one! This project is made from walnut that I chainsaw milled. It has brass splines and a glass lid. There was a ton of work put into this woodworking project. The wood box construction consists of wrap around grain. It has an interlocking wooden divider system inside to hold each watch. I put black leather on the bottom of the inside of the box, which matches the watch pillows I use. Once it was built, I applied a hard wax finish to the wood box.
