Making a drawing bow for woodworking

In this short video, I upcycle an old bed support into a useful drawing bow. I rip it to width, resaw it on the bandsaw and then plane it until I achieve the appropriate level of flexibility. After adding some picture frame hooks, I add a string with a simple wooden slide lock and it’s done. This is a super useful tool in furniture design and for marking curves. I hope you enjoy.
