Finally finishing this project that I started three years ago by making the drawers for the cabinet. The top two are notched to fit around the drain pipe from the sink, and the bottom drawer is deep enough for bottles of cleanser.
The drawers are made (mostly) from 1/2″ plywood and have solid maple edge banding to cover the edge of the plywood at the top of the drawers. I made the drawers the wrong size to begin with – I was going from a SketchUp drawing I made after building the cabinet, but didn’t check to verify that it was accurate. So I ended up cutting the bottom drawer twice and notching the middle drawer as well as cutting that one shorter. But it all works out in the end and I’m happy with the results.
