In this week’s video, I make another jig for my sacrificial crosscut fence. This time, for making perfect half-lap joints. Normally, to make half lap joints, you will use a table saw fence jig to make the vertical cut, then you switch to a cross cut sled to make the cross-cuts (or dados). My jig works on a cross-cut fence, so there is no need to build a separate jig for the table saw fence. It is a one stop shop for making the perfect half-lap joints.
