I’m in Nevada City, California visiting Tor and Robert Erickson of Erickson Woodworking. What began decades ago as a strong will to create fine woodworking and furniture, Robert forged a path of excellence in a time where resources and education on the subject were minimal. His son, Tor, spent his childhood around his father and within his father’s shop and inevitably became a partner in the business. Together, Robert and Tor create outstanding chairs, tables, and other unique, finely crafted furniture.
In this video, Tor will show us around the shop, give us some Erickson Woodworking history, alongside more of the ins and outs of his family trade. With any luck, there may even be a little woodturning as well! Thank you for watching!
